Hydro herbs & veg made easy!

Herb & veg grown simply without soil involved!

Whether you live indoor or outdoor!

This is a great technique for beginners and want to strive success within it! This is not a complicated hydro task as dealing with soil relationships, trust me on that one! Shall we just get into it? I think so!

To do this hydro task, you’ll need the following:

  • jars
  • fresh water
  • toothpicks
  • your chosen variety of herbs/veg or both.

Method:

Set your jar/s out and fill them ¾ with water. Take cuttings from a healthy plant, cut at below first node leaving two inter-nodes on the stem ending at after fourth node(should be 8 – 10 cm in length), the inter-nodes are where the roots will develop, leaving two – four sets of leaves at the top and remove the remaining leaves on the stem and put it into the jar of water. Place it on the windowsill or anywhere else, also in the direct sunlight. If you are doing celery or pineapple base/core, you would use the base/core of the veg once cleaned and poke in toothpicks on its side of the base/core and put it in the water in the jar. No fuss ha!

List of herbs:

  • Peppermint
  • Oregano
  • Sage
  • Basil
  • Stevia
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • Lemon balm
  • Chives
  • Celery

List of  veg:

  • Lettuce base/core
  • Pineapple base/core
  • Tomato stems
  • Peppers
  • Swiss chard
  • Kale
  • Spinach
  • Leafy greens
